Our heart beats for animals

The corporate philosophy at our pet hotel is actually quite simple. It is: Only the best for our guests and their owners. Our boarding kennel is spacious, well-maintained and modern. The team works in a professional and caring manner. This is how we meet the highest standards. In other words, we do everything we can to ensure that your pet has a pleasant and educational stay in a familiar environment. Whether dog or cat: your pet should enjoy coming to us, spend a fulfilling time here and return to you safe and sound. We work with heart and joy for happy animals and enthusiastic owners. If you are interested in our cat boarding, dog boarding or small animal boarding in the Aargau and Solothurn area and in the vicinity of the municipality of Schöftland, then we would like to invite you to come and see our kennels for yourself and clarify any questions you may have in a personal meeting. History

The story behind the Tierhotel 5 Stern

In many areas, animals cannot stand up for their own needs. Not wild animals. And not pets anyway. As soon as an animal lives in our care, it is no longer just subject to the whims of nature. But also ours. It cannot stand up for itself if it has to live in unworthy conditions. But I can and I want to. I already knew that as a child. And that’s why I founded a limited company at the age of 27 and started to realize my vision: The vision of a perfect boarding kennel and animal shelter including animal welfare organizations.

I invested every spare minute, drew up a business plan, looked for and found private investors and convinced them of my plan. With their support and that of the bank, the dream became a reality: in 2016, we were able to open the Tierhotel 5 Stern. Since then, thousands of guests have come to us for a vacation. And thanks to the exchange with our customers, we have been able to continuously improve our offer. Together with my team, I am delighted to be able to give so many animals a good time and a better life. With this in mind, we are constantly developing our services and our commitment.

Team

THE TEAM AT THE ANIMAL HOTEL

Your pet will be looked after by a diverse team. We take loving and attentive care of every pet that stays with us on vacation. We are constantly undergoing further training to cater for special needs. We also have special skills in looking after service and protection dogs. Our job can be quite demanding. But our guests are the best in the world. And they make us smile every day.

To be there for our four-legged friends and loyal companions. To give them a wonderful time at the Tierhotel 5 Stern until they can go home again. Offering neglected or abandoned animal souls a temporary home and paving the way to a better life for them. That’s what my heart beats for. That’s why I set up my animal hotel in 2016, founded the Verein schutzbedürftige Hunde and the Igel-Hilfe association and co-founded the Tierschutz Nordwestschweiz association.

If you entrust your beloved pet to us for one or more days or even a little longer, you can rely on us completely. You can rely on us to do everything we can for your pet’s well-being and to give them a really good time. I make sure of that. Together with my partner Corinne and our well-coordinated team. Because animals mean a lot to us. And because we know that real animal lovers can only really feel good when they know their faithful companions are in the very best hands.

Piet

Being at the side of animals and standing by their side – that was and is a matter close to my heart. I grew up on a farm. I worked for an international company for more than ten years. During this time, I regularly went to my parents’ farm to be close to the animals and my origins. And during this time, the desire to go back to my roots professionally grew.

Together with Piet and with a great deal of commitment, I now run the Tierhotel 5 Stern. So my wish has come true. In order to be able to be there even better for the animals entrusted to us, I am currently training to become an animal keeper.
